Wakefield and Leeds CCG

How to Object

There has been limited consultation on this planning application and we believe a development of this scale requires full and proper consultation with the local people it directly affects. We believe the communication from Wakefield Council and the developer has all been about a rugby stadium, but this proposed development is 250 acres and the rugby stadium is less than 4% of the total proposed development.

It is important that as many objection letters as possible go to the planning department (and you should send copies to your local councillor). Objection letters are the only way to influence whether or not this development goes ahead.

IF YOU WANT TO OBJECT LETTERS MUST BE IN BY 8TH APRIL 2010

How best to object: If you have objections to this development it is important you write to the address below to arrive before the 8th April 2010 stating your objections. The bullet points above should form the basis of your objections.

Write a letter to: Planning Services, Newton Bar, Leeds Road, Wakefield, WF1 2TX

CLEARLY STATE YOUR OBJECTIONS AND QUOTE THIS PLANNING REF NO: 10/00225/OUT

Please send a copy to your local councillor, if you wish. Find out who your local councillor is here.
